Jacob Irving has been building businesses and solving real-world problems since the age of 15, when he launched his first venture—Piano Lessons On Wheels. That early entrepreneurial spirit never faded. Over the years, Jacob worked in and around small and mid-sized businesses, wearing every hat from operations and IT to marketing and compliance. In 2010, Jacob entered the dental world as a regional manager for a two-office DSO. Over the next several years, he helped scale that group to more than 20 practices, serving in dual roles as COO—focused on maximizing people—and CIO—focused on optimizing systems to reduce unnecessary complexity. Torn between people and process, Jacob ultimately leaned into technology, building and leading a strong internal IT team that could support fast growth without sacrificing quality or compliance. In 2016, Jacob and his wife decided it was time to own their future. They launched InTech Together with a clear mission: to become the go-to IT partner for DSOs across the country, with a long-term goal of managing IT for 1,250 dental offices by the end of 2029. Since then, InTech Together has grown into a trusted partner for dental organizations nationwide, blending Jacob’s deep operational experience with his people-first leadership style. His background gives him a rare ability to align technical systems with real-world practice needs—and to build IT infrastructure that supports the vision of doctor-owners, leadership teams, and patients alike.
